Looking for a creative design for a multi operation DJ company. Company's name is "Paul Michaels Events".

My current logo and branding will run to co-exist, so ideally the two designs have some similar characteristics. You can see the old branding at www.djpaulmichaels.com. YOUR DESIGN SHOULD NOT BE FOR DJ PAUL MICHAELS. IT SHOULD BE FOR Paul Michaels Events

I want a simple, clean, and elegant logo for the new company. I want something that's "cool" in 2016 for young couples and clients. I've attached a screenshot of the website template I plan to use just so you have an idea where this needs to fit in to.
Would like to have a horizontal version of the logo, as well as vertical, or a square proportioned logo. If you can provide a business card design as well to match the styling, please let me know.

The new website will run in addition to my old website and branding, and both websites will link to each other, so I do not want the two logos to look too similar.

The logo will be used for a company providing mostly wedding DJ services, but also services for school dances, corporate events, private parties, etc. The company will be targeted at higher end events, NOT budget weddings/events.

I'd prefer it to use no more than 3 colors, and be able to be reversed (if needed) for use on other forms of display. Plan to use it on my website, business cards, printed materials, videos (watermark), and apparel. Need a clean design made as a true vector. I'd prefer something without small parts of detail (since the small bits of detail would be hard to reproduce on a stitched shirt or hat for example).
Would like the name to be used AS the logo if possible (as opposed to name separate from some image/logo) but if you think you have a great design which is 2 parts, I'd be open to seeing it.

Although I have disabled the guaranteed feature on this, I do plan to pick a design from this contest if you can help me achieve my dream logo/branding.
