Better with small solar cells.. If you want to get 40mW continuously with pin photodiodes, you would need 2182 diodes; It is not practical. It is better with small solar cells! For example, the solar cell model KXOB22-04X3F coul d be used. Using 2 of these in series, a voltage in the requested range is achieved, and a power of approximately 40mw continuously. A smaller capacity capacitor can be used if a lower PCB height is preferred.
