Project Overview We are seeking a skilled architectural or ornamental designer to create three independent decorative designs inspired by the Al-Madinah Visual Identity for precast concrete boundary wall panels intended for real on-site construction execution. All designs must strictly comply with the Inner Madinah Architectural Design Guidelines, available at the official reference source: *** Al-Madinah Inner City Architecture Guidelines *** https://architsaudi.dasc.gov.sa/sites/default/files/2025-12/ADG_05_Inner-Madinah_Handbook_Villa_Eng_11.pdf Panel Technical Specifications Parameter Specification Width 50 cm Length 200 cm Thickness 5 cm Installation orientation Horizontal — panels stacked horizontally Visual continuity Design must connect visually with the panel above and below, forming a unified facade when assembled Execution method Concrete cast into a patterned mold (raised negative relief engraved into the mold) Maximum engraving depth 2 cm (20 mm) Design Requirements: Three independent designs, each inspired by Al-Madinah's architectural heritage, incorporating the following elements as referenced in the official design guidelines: Rawashin (رواشين): Rectilinear geometric projected window screen patterns Islamic geometric patterns: Mehrab arches, stars, interlocking frames Shurfa parapet motifs: Traditional stepped crenellation adapted to panel format Hijazi architectural line language: Authentic vernacular style in a refined contemporary execution Key Design Rules: Designs must ensure visual continuity and seamless flow between stacked horizontal panels Engraving depth must not exceed 2 cm to ensure concrete casting integrity and safe mold release Designs must be practically executable by CNC / 3D Router machine — no overly complex undercuts Adequate draft angles must be incorporated to allow clean mold separation after casting Deliverables For all contest entries (to qualify): 3D photorealistic renders showing the full panel design A composite mockup showing how 3–4 stacked panels look as a unified wall facade For the winner only: 3D AutoCAD file (DWG / DXF) fully prepared for CNC 3D Router machine operation File must include the negative relief (mold-ready engraving) at exact dimensions: 500 × 2000 mm, max depth 20 mm All dimensions must be precisely respected with no tolerance deviation Required Skills AutoCAD 3D / Rhino / SolidWorks or equivalent Islamic / Hijazi ornamental and architectural design Experience with CNC files or digital fabrication is a strong advantage Familiarity with Al-Madinah Architectural Identity and Vision 2030 design principles
