Contest Brief
We are running this contest in hopes of finding a new logo for our church to use.
The requirements are:
- the logo is for a Roman Catholic church
- must work in black and white as well as color
- will be used for web and print
- Must provide finished logo in vector format such as an EPS or Ai
- logo submissions must be original in design (please do not submit other church's logos)
Logo must be in a VECTOR format.
Color, style, etc will be left to the designer. We do not want to influence the design in any way and are completely open to ideas.
The church specifics are:
Church Name - St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church
Location - Abbotsford, BC Canada
URL - www.stannsabbotsford.ca (please note that this site design will change completely in the next few months so please do not design the logo based on this site)
Please remember that this logo is for our church, so only submit suitable images.
The winning designed will be picked by a small panel from our church. Please be patient with us regarding feedback and ratings.
Update: We prefer that the logo does NOT have the city or the url included. Currently preferred logo designs will be specified tonight using the star rating system. Each day our goal is to try and specify what we like best as to help the designers produce the best logo possible for our church.

Once again I would like to thank all of the designers. There were a lot of great submissions which took our group quite some time to go through and determine a winner. Our choice was made not only on the existing submitted logo but also creativity and apparent ability. Many of you met the design requirements very well.

The graphic element in entry #78 is not a vector and will prove cumbersome for print. I suggest you seek your printer's advice before you select by yourself. I am not entering THIS contest so I have no vested interest. I am a Roman Catholic and would hate to see a church finagled.

Hello everyone. Thank you so much for your contributions so far. We have rejected some designs outright, as well as awarded 1 star to those still under further consideration. If a logo has 3 stars or more it has been discussed with our panel.
As a point of interest, there is a mountain peak just south of our church called Mt. Baker in the state of Washington. This peak is very recognizable in our community and may also work in the development of a logo. I say this not to sway anyone but perhaps as a way to aid further designs.
