713 Energy Is a new start up entity that is in the process of establishing an Energy (Oil & Gas) Focused asset management company. We will be building out (in the immediate term) all of the following:
1) Logo Design
2) Website Design
3) Brochure, Flyer Design
Thoughts or ideas regarding our logo;
We want an image that conveys trustworthiness and confidence, knowledge and experience.
We are in the Oil & Gas Exploration & Development business. We look for drilling opportunities. The number "713" comes from the Area Code of Houston, Texas "the Oil Capital of the world". Motifs that align with Texas are Western, Cowboys, Oil Rigs, Hats, Boots, Horses, Cattle, Leather and open spaces etc.
A suggestion that was received with positive response was somehow utilizing the actual branding iron common in Texans, ie., a 713 branding iron or also using an oil rig or pumper in some way.
Another Strong like is the use of Leather. Since leather would make a good back drop for the website and brochures, combining stitching colors of all sorts etc make incorporating leather in some sense.
Two competitor websites that are professional and convey a strong positive image in our industry are attached. Something that can capture similar feelings and message is what we are striving for.
We are a Texas based firm but have an office in NYC and are not just Texas centric.
