GUARANTEED CONTEST

Hey everyone. I'm building a chat system for my website and want YOU to design the User Interface.

The entire thing can be modeled on Facebook Chat. I want small popup windows for conversations, and within them there needs to be:

- A name at the top, with an icon depicting online/away/offline status
- A button to add more people, turning the chat into a group chat
- A button to toggle video-calling
- A Close button to close that popup window

All these things are already in Facebook Chat. That's for the top bar.

The body of the chat window should contain chat bubbles, like Facebook.

At the bottom there should be:
- A text field
- A button to choose emoticons
--- When clicked a bubble needs to appear containing only a basic set of emoticons

NOW, FOR THE RIGHT SIDEBAR:

I want this to be modeled more on the old Facebook Chat. The right sidebar contains ONLY a list of friends, their profile pictures, and a SYMBOL for their online status. Currently we only have Online/Away/Offline. No second newsfeed, please.

I want a Search Box at the TOP of this right-sidebar.

At the Bottom, I want just a bar (like a minimized popup window) reading "Chat" - this will allow the user to minimize all the popup windows, to a single bar reading "Chat". I want this to contain a "settings" button allowing the user to go offline.

NOTIFICATIONS: the popup windows will need to change colour when new messages come in, like on Facebook.

MINIMIZED OPEN WINDOWS: If you have five Facebook Chats going at once, some of them get minimized to one side. Please include this.

COLOUR SCHEME: The website this chat is for, is www.urban-roost.co.uk . Take your colours from there. Either sign up to explore (it's free) or visit http://urban-roost.co.uk/about-us , or look at the document I've uploaded.

Happy? I'll eventually want the files in .PSD format, so my web developer can play with them.
