First I tried to design some compositions from the letter S of the logo you liked. I think this would be very nice for your packaging design. You could use it as a sticker, print or decoration for your products. Here we have one letter 'S' as a symbol, the logo 'Schaerbeek' or logo with compositions around the word. So it`s very multipurpose logo. I did some variations, but there could be much more. I hope you will like my works. :) I am working with CorelDraw and I could provide different kinds of files.
