Our business name is Alert Dog Training. We are a professional dog training business and have been training dogs for 25 years.
We deal with both obedience and behavioural issues in dogs, and have made a name for ourselves by our personalised, professional service and successful no nonsense approach to training. Our training achieves a much higher standard than other trainers and we successfully work with difficult dogs. We receive new enquiries and clients because of word of mouth and referrals from clients, vets, pet stores etc, we no longer have to advertise at all.
Our motto is "Professional Training for Dedicated Owners".
We do not use treats when training, instead we use methods that work on building a bond between owner and dog, where the dog is able to be calm, balanced, relaxed and responsive to it's owner.
Our history is police and military based, we now cater to everyday dog owners and their pet dogs, yet retain that level of professionalism, discipline and authority balanced by a personalised service that helps clients build a bond with their dog.
We would like our logo to be used in various forms; ie website, email, hard copy such as flyers, t-shirts, hats etc.
We would like the logo to instantly reflect a number of things :
- clean and easy to read/recognise
- colours that reflect our motto and history
Ideally we would like to incorporate the word 'professional' into the logo ie Alert Professional Dog Training.
And if possible to have "Since 1991" included also.
Yet we are aware of not making it too complex and difficult to read
We are open to seeing totally new designs that will impress us, as well as designs that are altering our current logo to fit the above criteria better.
Thank you and I eagerly await your designs. Good luck!

“Out of many entries this designer submitted a design closest to our requirements. Upon request they worked with us refining the design in a timely and professional manner, and anticipated our needs by adding additional beneficial changes. Communication was very good.”
