Contest Brief

I require a logo for a new chicken shop called 'The Chicken Shop'. The subheading line is 'Black Rock Flame Grilled Chicken''

I would like the logo to look like an old fashioned style logo similar to some of the ones in the attachment. I would like it to be like an emblem style, with some heritage look and feel. I would like a strong font with a clear layout, and maybe with a weathered look and feel. The logo should convey good old fashioned quality and value for money. It should also stand out when used on the window of the shop and on printed material to maybe a distinctive splash of colour within the logo would work. I would like the logo to look like a long-established brand rather than a brand new shop.
