BACKGROUND:
Our "new/purposed" Mission/Purpose statement is: LOVE GOD (^) | LOVE ONE ANOTHER (> ) | LOVE THE WORLD (< >)
The median age of our church members is 45 but our target audience is young families.
Our church is located next to the largest logistical US Air Force Base (Robins Air Force Base).
Our music style is contemporary Christian (Hillsong, Elevation, Jesus Culture)
We are embracing the Simple Church model (by Thom Rainer & Eric Geiger)

DESIGN IDEAS:
We are looking for a fresh modern logo
We don't want cartoonish or traditional styles in our new logo
We want this logo to say our name, at least an abbreviation of it (FBC)
Don't be bound by the style, color and format of our current logo (http://fbccenterville.org)

- Blue, Burgundy, Gold, White, Silver, Beige/taupe

THIS SYMBOL IS AN IDEA WE HAD FOR THE MAIN CHURCH LOGO... AND IT HAPPENS TO RESEMBLE AN AIR FORCE EMBLEM OR LOGO. WE MINISTER TO THE AIR FORCE BASE IN TOWN.

THIS IS A STARTING POINT FOR YOU. DEVELOP IT MORE, MAKE IT YOUR OWN. YOU WON'T OFFEND US BY CHANGING THINGS. WE LIKE CREATIVITY.

  It's okay either way. Try to incorporate the 4 arrows in the brief. All of them together make the main logo idea that we attached. It doesn't have to be inside of a circle.

Try rounding the points in the logo that i attached to my brief. Focus on that style. We have really honed in on that icon, but something is still missing in it - it may be a little too stale/rigid.

Thank you everyone, we don't have to have a cross on our logo, but good start. Try to incorporate the outline of our building, a new design all-together of a logo icon and as modern and fresh as possible. I don't want it to scream "Christian/Baptist" church.
