Contest Brief

A LOGO DESIGN for a Personalised Fundraising Company for the following target market:
1. Individuals hosting celebrations (Weddings, birthdays, anniversaries)
2. Small organizations
3. Corporations

Logo to be applied in various print, media & IT platforms

Allocated 5 days for you to work with so please read this brief.

What we want:
1. Must include an owl and a wrapped gift box. Though we are open to a different design concept that could work in this niche market.
2. The Business name you can use for example is "Company Name" Please incorporated this into the logo. The actual business name will only be released to the successful winner. It will be expected for the winner to then add the name of the correct website (2 words - 11 letters in all) to the final artwork at no cost.
3. Provision for a possible Tag Line if two words: example: "Just do it" - may or may not be included in the final logo. Tag line to be advised to successful winner.
4. Design should be simple, fresh and ELEGANT. Nothing too bold. Examples are: Vintage pastel, earth tones, pale aqua, pale mint green.
Must be appropriate to a cross section of customers (age, gender). No more than 3 colours.
5 DO NOT COPY from stock logos or clipart. We are only interested in original artwork. If the winner is discovered to have copied the logo, they will be reported to Freelancer.
6. Interested party should submit a brief description of Concept Design and actual created design/layout which will be a digital copy in Hi-resolution
7. Full list of colours and fonts used.

Could you post some examples that reflect your design guidelines from the brief. In other words, show us your vision for how do you see "simple, fresh and ELEGANT. Nothing too bold." This I think would greatly speed up the creative process. "Design without constraints is not design. It's just art."

If you choose to show wings, please do not make the wings larger than the owl otherwise it will look like an eagle.

Also, please do not make the owl look like an eagle. It is to look like an owl that will be appealing to families/children and something that corporate would like too. Hence, nothing too abstract with too many edges. Please also make your logo backing page white. Some have place the logo on a black page.
