Contest Brief

I need a logo designed for a criminal defense attorney's website. The website will be DCMDDefense.com, which stands for Washington, D.C. and Maryland criminal defense. An example of what I'm looking for can be found at:

The image is also attached.

I like the designer's idea of blending a shield with a business suit, since criminal defense attorneys where a business suit and defend/shield clients in court. I'm looking for that, or something similar, but custom, not an exact copy.

I'd like the logo in three different color schemes: red and black (or something similar); blue and black (or something similar); and black and white.

I appreciate originality and creativity.
