Background:
The popularity of airbnb (www.airbnb.com) has driven global awareness of holiday home accommodation as an option (for travelers to get more involved in the community they are staying and hosts to create some passive income) and created an entire eco-system of start ups including short lease property management, key exchange/management and support services in USA and Europe. Holiday home accommodation has always been popular in Australia – with people leasing their own home while they are away or leasing out their holiday (second) home while they are not using it. With the launch of airbnb this popularity is destined to grow.

There are a number of barriers and issues with people leasing their own home:
- Security - will someone steal or damage my house?
- Safety - will someone burn my house down?
- Absent - how do I exchange house keys, give a tour of the home, answer any ongoing questions, help them if they get locked out when I am not there OR cant be bothered
- Clean - how can I clean the home and get it organised when I have multiple guests and I am not about

Current support services:
Urban Bellhop (www.urbanbellhop.com) which provides key exchange and cleaning/linen services launched in San Francisco (2014). A similar company is also currently being beta tested in Washington called Airhostr (www.airhostr.com). Keycafe (www.keycafe.com) is a service where keys can be collected from a local café – also launched in the USA (2014) but with a global service strategy. There are currently no services in Australia (barr Real Estate Agents that expect long contracts) to support people who lease their homes like these examples.

The business idea is to launch a similar service to urbanbellhop/airhostr in Australia.
Business Name - keyexchange
Services - keyexchange provides hospitality on behalf of holiday rental hosts (home owners). A key exchange local manager will meet, greet and help guests settle in to a hosts home when they can't (don't want to!). The local manager will hand over the key, show them around the home, organise cleaning, deliver welcome boxes full of food. They will let them in to their house if they lose their key. They can be called and helped if they don't know how to operate things in the house. In the future they can recommend things to do and places to go in the local area. In essence they are their local friend, family, host that is their to help them and ensure that they have the best holiday ever!

What I need:
A logo
Brand guidelines - font (headers and main body) - I can use these for my website etc
Color palette recommendations - I can use these for my website etc

What the logo needs to have/be:
- the name 'keyexchange'
- somehow incorporate the words 'the original' - this is the first service of this kind so although I don't want the name of the business to be 'the original keyexchange' but I want 'the original' to somehow be incorporated into the logo in a way that can be dropped in an out if needed. It is a key differentiator and can be used for competitive advantage - i.e. the original business in Australia (as there are no others)
- really cool and modern - look at the websites I have given as examples on the attached power point
- not just be about swapping keys as the service is more than that - its really about connecting people.
- be trustworthy and provide the feeling of trust and security for the owners

Formats
- include the following: .EPS and .AI (Adobe Il)
- include the following: .JPG and .PSD
- include the following: PNG and ICO format of the icon
