Hi Everyone,

The logo is for a website which helps student prepare for the dental admissions test. The dental admissions tests (DAT) is a standardized test which college students must take in order to apply to dental schools and continue with their goal of becoming a dentist. The name of the business will be "DAT Gorilla". I would like to incorporate a gorilla in to the logo, perhaps an exam, and the name of the business. I'm thinking of a gorilla kind of like King Kong, in that the gorilla is strong and determined to accomplish whatever he sets his mind to. Similarly, the students preparing for the important test will be very determined to study hard and do very well on the exam.

I've attached a few images that I found online that generally represent what I am thinking in regards to this logo. I'm open to a variety of color schemes.

Just so you know #10 is an image copied straight from google images. That could be copyright infringement. I was just doing some silhouette searching of gorillas and stumbled upon it.

Also, out of the attached images I put up with the brief I think the second one is the best. I think the font and the logo is pretty cool.

So far I think #10 and #17 are my favorites.

On #10 : I really like the font chosen and the logo. But, I don't like that it is only black and white. I also would like it to say 'DAT GORILLA' rather than just 'GORILLA'. I think it would be cool to have DAT also tattooed on the gorilla's chest without it looking cheesy.

#17 : I like the gorilla logo chosen, I don't like the color chosen or the font. The name 'DAT GORILLA' looks off by itself and not really incorporated into the design. Perhaps a circle around the entire gorilla?

This is my first time doing this so I apologize if I am not following the normal format.

I guess it would be nice to have the gorilla holding a test in one of his hands and having either 1) a t shirt on that says DAT or 2) tattoo on his chest that says 'DAT'.

I don't just want a gorilla and the words DAT Gorilla next to it...
