Contest Brief

We started designing a logo (sample attached) but we're not happy with it and require some more creative ideas.
Without restricting your creative input there are a few elements of the logo that we've decided upon which are:

Font - We want to use the Porsche font, which you'll find in the link. It has the right feel that we want, we may consider others though if they fit with an overall theme.
Design - Modern, edgy, almost minimalist but with plenty of colour, the sample is way to dull. Blue should be a prominent feature colour of the logo.
Background - We don't want anything with a solid background unless you think it will be particularly spectacular, we'd prefer a transparent background.

Other than that there are no further restrictions. If you win you'll only need to provide the raw artwork in .ai or .eps format, We'll be creating the rest of the assets ourselves, but I'm open to suggestions for design elements that will compliment the logo if you have any. This logo will also be used in vehicle signage. We will require a full version logo detaling the full name "Aerial Vision Photography" and also a shortened version using the initials "AVP"

The best design will win the contract we are happy to pay up to $1000 for production of the logos.

Some notes on our sample design - The A & V letters in the Aerial Vision name are not Porsche font but are hand created, we had an idea of making them look like an aeroplane tail to tie in with the aerial theme. It didn't really work so your logo will need to look a lot better to win.
