Hi,
I need a talented designer to design a logo for an instagram account called "Chefs of Instagram". Soon we will have a website too. All we do in our account is promoting recipes, dishes, and chefs through instagram. And we do all this by posting pictures.

We want our logo to capture this. We want our logo to capture the idea "chefs of instagram", where chefs use social media to promote their dishes and restaurant. and they do this by mainly taking pictures of their dishes and restaurant and posting them on instagram, facebook, twitter etc.

SO, basically the logo has to capture the idea of a chef with a camera and how important it is for the business.

Some suggestions:
1) Camera /camera lens with a chef hat
2) Camera /camera lens with a chef jacket
3) Camera /camera lens with a chef apron
4) Camera /camera lens that looks like a chef

You dont have to follow my suggestions so be as creative as possible.

The design has to be clean, modern, sophisticated, unique. I expect high quality work, and nothing else.

  We were under the same impression in the beginning, but actually we didn't. we checked with instagram on that, and the design doesn't violate any trademarks.

It would be great if you can provide other designs without using the instagram logo (official designs). The problem with using the instagram logo is that we are breaching all sorts of copyrights & trademarks, so it will be really tough using it in our products.

I suggest looking in www.logooftheday.com to have a trendy criteria to select a modern, 2014 logo.
