You can try to create the letter "D" with a needle and thread for distinct look.

  I made the D with the clock which seemed to me rather successful and which is still understood to be a D. And DASSARI letter was capitalized. That idea does not like me? Logo # 189. I seemed to offer a different option, because if you see, all logos resemble each other and none is recognized.
