Contest Brief

I want a logo for my brand DC8.

The logo needs to be creative, be well thought out and must flow. See attachment of my sketch for ideas and inspirations.

1). In my sketches, the first thing you see is the number eight, and the D and C forms part of the 8. I would like a professionally drawn up version of that; add colour, make it pop, make it vivid, or keep it subtle.
2). I also welcome your own interpretation of DC8.
3). It goes without saying that it must look good

    I might be getting blind, but I do not see a C and a D in the winning logo, there are some others that did show it clearly, the winner look like the ying yang symbol :/
