Need a new logo for: DJ Paul Michaels

This is for my DJ company. Need a professional logo that can be used for clubs and bars, as well as weddings, corporate events, bar/bat mitzvahs, family events, etc.

I'd prefer it to use no more than 3 colors, and be able to be reversed (if needed) for use on other forms of display. Plan to use it on my website, business cards, printed materials, videos (watermark), and apparel. Need a clean design made as a true vector. I'd prefer something without small parts of detail (since the small bits of detail would be hard to reproduce on a stitched shirt or hat for example).
Would like the name to be used AS the logo if possible (as opposed to name separate from some image/logo) but if you think you have a great design which is 2 parts, I'd be open to seeing it.

I'd like to make sure it can be used with my current branding and website (which uses the same blue color used in the logo).

I honestly really love my existing logo, but it can't be used very well as a photo or video watermark, since it requires the background color be white or grey to look fantastic, so I just need something a little more versatile. If it can resemble or have some sort of tie-back to the existing logo, that would be fantastic (so my existing customers do not get confused when they see new branding).

If anything from the existing logo is needed for your design (vector file, fonts, etc), I can provide it, even though I assume it will not be needed.
