Looking for a logo to represent the "Dreams for Dean" fundraising project. The logo will be used on t-shirts and other items.
The coach of our daughter's soccer team just had a baby boy 4 months prematurely and baby Dean is currently fighting for his life in the neonatal intensive care unit. A few soccer parents have established a fund called Dreams for Dean to help raise money for baby Dean's medical expenses. The final logo should be modern, playful (but not cartoonish) and bring in the "soccer" theme somehow. One idea is to have an abstract illustration of a baby boy or teddy bear sleeping hugging a soccer ball with a whistle in his mouth (instead of a pacifier). Or it could be more active -- like an abstract teddy bear playing soccer. Or perhaps the logo is just a modern word mark with just a hint of the dream/soccer concept incorporated into the text. Open to ideas.
The text "Dreams for Dean" should be included in the logo.
The first 2 attached images are just thought starters...but we're looking for something more abstract/modern. Please be creative and suggest other ideas as appropriate.

I just uploaded several charity logos to give an example of the design style we like. More abstract...something that could work as a 1-color or 2-color logo if necessary. (4-color logo is fine but it would be nice if it could be printed as 1-color if we needed on certain items.) Please take a look and ask me any questions! :-)

The last one you submitted is much better! But perhaps incorporate other colors too? I'm not sure of the style of the bear...you're on the right track though.
