As you know there are hundreds, if not thousands, of organizations with the name "Good Shepherd" in them. We are seeking a unique design for our new logo. While it can incorporate a shepherd and/or a staff, it should not be simply focused on this aspect in design. You might consider using the words or adding a picture. We are an Arkansas based company serving people with Developmental Disabilities in the community (mental retardation). People live in their own homes with help from Good Shepherd Developmental Services.

Logo should be able to be used on a website, business cards, letterhead, email signatures. Color is okay, but not necessary. Sometimes a black and white logo can convey the same message as a color one. We also don't want to detract from the meaning and mission of Good Shepherd Developmental Services of Arkansas.

The winning entry will become the property of Good Shepherd Developmental Services, Inc.; however, winning artist/designer may use the logo as part of their portfolio as a sample of work/sales made. All entries will receive a response and only the winning entry will become property of Good Shepherd Developmental Services of Arkansas. Good Shepherd Developmental Services of Arkansas also reserves the right to refuse all entries for use as a company logo, but will pay a winner and may request modification to the winning submission.
