Design a Logo for Lawyer

Contest Brief

I need a logo designed for a law office. The name of the law office is The Law Office of Christopher A. Banks, LLC. Its website is at www.banksatlaw.com. When you visit that page, you will see a logo with an "L" in a circle and the word "LAWYERS" next to it in the upper left corner. A copy of that logo and wording is attached. It needs to be replaced with another logo, of the same size (270x90 pixels) and format (png).

You can view a demo of the Wordpress theme used on this website so you can get a better feel of how the banksatlaw.com website is expected to ultimately look. That demo is at http://themeforest.net/item/lawyers-responsive-business-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/6835497.

This new logo should match that look and feel.

As examples of logos for law offices/lawyers, you can google search "lawyer logos" and look at the image results. As you will see, most designs incorporate gavels, the scales of justice, or columns (architectural columns) into the logo designs. Any of them can be used in this logo, but none are required. Another idea that may work is to make a logo based on the lawyer's initials ("CB").

All of that said, you are free to come up with your own ideas in designing this logo. What's most important is that the logo looks good, clean, simple and professional. As far as color is concerned, it can be any color, but I want a logo that will look good in black and white and in the same color red that the attached logo is in from the demo website linked to above. I will need, at the very least, one copy of the logo in each of those two color schemes.
