I have an application for school pupils in Russia who prepare for the Russian final school exam in math. The application is for mobile phones only, Android and Apple. I need a logo for this application to put it on Android Market and AppStore. This application has a collection of exams and some interactive teaching features.
Obviuosly the logo should not be too complicated, since it is supposed to be displayed on mobile devices.
The exam is called "The Common State Exam" and in Russia everybody knows it as "EGE" (the Russian abbreviation of "Common State Exam"). "EGE" in Russian letters is "ЕГЭ". I think it is essential that the letters "ЕГЭ" are displayed on the logo, but you can come with different solutions. Finally, the idea here is that people should perceive from the logo the following:
1) that it is for school,
2) it is a mathematical application,
3) and it is for preparation for aforementioned "Common State Exam".
The application is planned to be in English as well, but the logo should not contain English words (however, it can contain greek symbols or anything else what you think is appropriate for this type of application).

I made a classic because that is what I think should represent. As a student I see the background of this logo I realize that this is something that will help me in math and I see the name immediately think that it is something that will help me with Common State Exam. What I think should represent. The classics are the best right? The decision is yours. I hope the best logo to win and I'm very glad to know that I helped students in one way or another.

thank you! the idea does not fit the goal perfectly. it's for pupils, students, but looks more like some construction shop logo. also, it's a little bit too complex.

Thanks. It of unstandard shape and i don't think it's good idea. Also, some graphics is desirable, except simply letters and backround of one color.
