  As for you theocracy7 - your logo made it to the final 2 that they picked from - they ultimately did not choose it only because it really did not have any relation to name badges - but everyone honestly visually liked your logo the best - but again it didn't represent the brand so they went with option number 2.

  every one said the winning designer copy concept and design. just a simple change. Here we give here very hard work. it is injustice for me.

  Some things we have and some things we don't have. For example, i haven't submitted a logo, but i do have eyes. . I mean, really, can't you see that the winner used the same font, palette, glare, shadow and just added a tie? You could just have told the original uploader to add a tie if the tie was so important. I am not saying that the fault was the board's, i am saying that whoever submitted that logo to the board should not have done that because it is a copy, fair and square. Anyway, i think i made my opinion clear to you, i don't expect you to agree ( that's what a disagreement is). Just don't try to convince that the winner's logo is a different idea or just has the same concept with ultragrim's. The fact that pixelhub took down post #396 is hard evidence. I mean, cmon, It's REALLY similar . I believe that the members of the community have to speak up when things like these happen. Today it was ultragrim, tomorrow it might be me or someone else. Peace.

     I am not disagreeing with you. It was not my choice - if freelancer feels that the logo was copied, then as long as we get that same design - we do not care who gets paid for it. I tried to make it clear I would get Ultragrim compensated but now we are being trashed and throated on a public board. We will let freelancer deal with it. Its not our problem anymore.

  i have already explained about this issue. this is not copy of Ultragrim. my details and myshape are different. am always follow the rules and regulations of freelancer and myself.
  
  so many person with badge logo was created some of the logo Got rejected and some of not rated, when contest is active... you guys are not speaking this kind argument, normally client like this concept people with badge, same concept
  
  with different manner i also did same way.
  
  somany times its happen to me also same with different design manner ...win somebody....
  
  Font,shadow, etc is a Common. Look at the shape of logo and design. i hope everyone will understand, all the best for everyone.

  Dear Contest Holder,
  
  I certainly believe my design was copied. I also believe that when someone is not guilty, he has no reason to withdraw and/or erase submissions. Before I posted my first design, not a single person had this idea (of a man's icon wearing a badge). They were all making logos using your initials "nb". After mine was posted I saw that lots of people seized my idea like it was theirs. But I thought you KNEW whose idea it was and that you CARED about who really worked hard so that you have a nice logo for your company.
  Then the last moment, some guy appears with a sealed submission and wins the contest using loosely my idea. Since you knew it was my idea, you should tell him that this is not an original design and you should refer to me for changes upon the logo. I have been very associable since the very beginning, posting and rearranging for you 19 submissions. I offerred a new unique idea and you chose to give the prize to the guy who stole it.

     If you read the posts, I told you I would try and help you out but now I'm being threatened about the situation. Deal with freelancer about it - I submitted a contest and its not my job to deal with peoples design issues. I made it clear what we did and who picked the logo that won the contest. I told you that I would try and help you out even though yours was not picked. But i guess i should just pay everyone who submitted a logo because everyone used the initials NB in 80 percent of them. Everyone must have copied everyone than. Im over this, I wasted enough time dealing with this and trying to make everyone feel ok. Now if Freelancer wants you to be the winner, have them handle it and then send me the files - I do not care.

     I do not mind if you submit a request to freelancer - if they decide you should be paid, then by all means you should be paid. As long as I get the logo that we selected, I do not care who gets paid. Im done having a public conversation about this. Let me know what happens with freelancer.

  My actions about this matter are:
  
  1) I reported the copied logo to freelancer.com (there is a certain section about copies).
  2) I have proof that i created the logo first, despite the fact that you keep rejecting some of my previous submissions AFTER the contest ended.
  3) I have informed the freelancer staff that AFTER the contest ended, pixelhub withdrew a submission of his that was even more similar to mine (almost identical).
  
  I think it is obvious, that if you use a logo on which pixelhub worked ten times less than the amount of time I worked on, just to make a little change, then the credit should be distributed accordingly.

  Sometimes it really isn't what people "think" it is. We had 20 or 30 logos printed out on a conference table with a bunch of people looking at them.

  I told you guys that wasn't a single person decision - we had our higher ups looking at printed out pictures of logos - and i also stated that if Ultragrim feels his logo was copied, we will gladly pay him for his design. We are not trying to rip anyone off. And to be honest - i think subotronzerotron shouldn't even be discussing this as he didn't submit any logos.

  The only problem is that ultragrim's design was the first that had this concept and the others that followed didn't just only have the same concept, but they were really similar. By adding a tie to a logo you can't make it yours. As i informed you, there is the creative commons licence so that people like pixelhub can't take advantage of the work of others, and so that people like you can't use commercially the work of someone without giving him/her credit and without paying the right person. If there wasn't any problem with what happened, pixelhub wouldn't have withdrawn entry #396 (thankfully the site staff can see it), he wouldn't have deleted my previous comment, and you wouldn't have removed the previous comments (available via print screen if anyone is interested, you can't fool the internet). I mean, maybe you think that we are blind or idiots, but the community sees everything, and that's why this site is popular, despite the fact that some people take advantage of others.

     most designers had no idea what was looking the CH, for example at the first of the contest i make the "n" icon and was more like that for several days, and then all start to copy the concept make changes, then ultragrim have this new idea and the CH like more then all start to copy him, this is not fair for ultragrim, and repect a designer is no copy the idea, i can make several designs copy him, but i prefer respect this idea and not copy him, becouse is the idea and the concept of ultragrim

     anyone here would like to have a great idea that no one else would have thought, after that this idea is the one you like the contest owner, then everyone starts to copy you, and ultimately lose the contest knowing that it was your idea from the beginning, and if you had not done, no one would have thought

  To all the contestants, we do apologize if we did not pick your design - we have a group of people here who these designs had to go through. We appreciate all of your efforts and we will be holding a bunch more contests or projects for brochures / business cards / new re-skin of our website. Also we have NO ill intentions of stealing or copying anyone else work. We did get a lot of submissions that looked very similar, we did get a lot of submission that were straight generic logos that were posted online. It is very difficult when running through over 400 designs to test and make sure all of them are not an exact or a similar copy of someone else. Again we apologize and hope to work with a few of you in the future.

  I understand that entries may be rejected if they're just not what you want, but I think the designers here would really appreciate a few words of guidance/explanation on their rejections since they probably spent a few hours working on it. I know I would. It can be very disheartening to spend time working on designs with not so much as an acknowledgement. I get that there are lots of entries & that some people may have just spent about 15 mins copying something, but not all of us. Thanks.

  The typography for the actual words - NameBadge.com are just as important as the logo - we do need the .com on the end since the we branding the site as NameBadge.com

  We apologize if we can not rate or give feedback on every logo - there are a lot of submissions and if they are not what we are looking for then we have to reject them. We are looking for more of a Modern logo - maybe even with JUST the words NameBadge.com without any symbols - we are not sure - we want something like Facebook, twitter, super clean - modern - and something that we can brand all of our items with. We have got a few that we really like - but not 100% set on anything yet - we are thinking about giving a bonus to the one we pick or guaranteeing the bid if we get a few more samples that look more promising. I appreciate everyone for submitting
