We need a logo for a christian monastic organisation. We are an organisation focused on helping Christians grow closer to God through one-to-one discipling relationships. You can think of these as mentors or coaches in the faith. Our color is green. Please make sure the logo is only green, with the possible addition of White through black. No other colours please. However, we would consider a logo based on a "tree of life", leaves, flowers, some other natural things, or even human figures. The logo should appeal to both men and women and be simple in its appearance.

We will consider a simple logo that looks like it comes from a "coat of arms", but this is not required. Surprise us!

Most importantly: No crosses!

I have rejected many of the logos which I don't think are headed in the right direction. If you are interested in this contest still, please look at the ones which remain and my comments below and resubmit. If I left you specific comments on a logo, please revise it and resubmit it at your next convenience. I have been very pleased will all your submissions. My "rejection" of some is more for guidance of revisions than a comment on the quality of your work. Thank you very much for all your works.

I also like the idea of the visual element being only one, two or three shades of green. Please do not use other colors unless they are black or white. Please keep a transparent background, unless you feel your idea absolutely requires something else.

I have just had a chance to review all of the entries so far. Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to produce what you have. They are all excellent and very helpful. In fact, your entries have helped me clarify my thoughts on the project. Let me suggest the following:

The Text: If you offer a revision, please leave the text out completely, unless it has been incorporated into the visual element, like the "F" being included in a tree, etc.

The Visual Element: I think I would like to stick to a tree, or group of trees. Also, I think I would like the logo's visual element to appear to be something very old, ancient even, like a very very very old tree, something of substance and permanency, but also growth. If you use a leaf by itself, the design should be very intricate.

We don't care what shade of Green. Bright or dark is acceptable, as long as it looks good with your design.
