I need a redesign of the attached logo, or something very similar that has not been made public before. The one who best captures the look and feel of the attached image in a design that can't be considered as a clear rip off of the original, will win the contest. Use of vector format is a plus, but not necessary if you provide a png big enough (see attachment). The logo will be used as a Windows Phone app tile. For reference, here are the different sizes: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/windowsphone/develop/hh202948%28v=vs.105%29.aspx. You don't need to provide multiple sizes of the logo, just make sure that everything scales ok for an app tile. The attached image scales well to be an app tile.

The one who wins the contest will not be permitted to resell or distribute the picture in any way to any third parties. The ones who don't win are free to use their submitted images as they wish.

The logo will be used for an automotive application, so when creating an entry, you can consider the guy in the logo to be working on a car repair shop.

Redesigning the sample logo is acceptable, but you need to make it stand out from the original. Don't just change the eyes and alter the colors. You could think of it like this: If google reverse image search finds the original from your version, make a bit more modifications to it.
