Contest Brief

We are an Australian Insurance Brokerage. We want to create a new look website to our current one. www.ruralandgeneral.com.au (also abbreviated to www.rgib.com.au) First we want to create a new HOME PAGE (in wordpress for ease of maintenance) from which all other pages on the site will be based on. We want to stick with the overall feel/design of our existing home page (but, expand, revamp and modernize it) so as to target our core customer base:-

Business Insurance
Public & Products Liability
Professional Indemnity
Commercial Buildings & Industrial Property
Builders Trades & Construction Risks
Restaurants & Nightclubs
Commercial & Fleet Vehicles
Entertainment & Special Events
Community Associations & Clubs
Sole Traders Home Business & Micro Enterprise
Market Stall Holders & Exhibitors Insurance

We want the home page to be vibrant, modern and sophisticated - preferably with a navy/dark blue (boarder) theme colour with a modern strong silver/oyster white text. We like the idea of flashing banners if possible - like at www.aig.com.au

The successful designer will get the job of designing all the other website pages.

New banner attached herewith can be used or logo - or make your own.

    PSD files are photoshop files that you can get converted to a working webpage by hiring a PSD to HTML developer

    Sorry, I got confused which question - as to width - no I will leave that to you - but, I know our current one is to narrow - it confines us too much so, I'd like something more funky (for insurance) a bit wider etc'

    Hi - I'm sorry I wasn't sure what PSD means - I think it means to design in a template fashion which can be tweaked as required. For the price I'm not expecting functionality but, just so long as my IT people (when I find one who is any good) can take it further. So, at this stage I'm looking for a mast head design with the same or similar features to our existing website. Just so long as things can be changed easily; that is why I was looking to have it in wordpress for that reason. I hope this answers your question. Cheers Charles
