I am developing a simple site that allows a visitor to check that there website passes some simple best practices in terms of response design / mobile ready / basic SEO checks / site speed.

The site will be call mywebsitechecker.com. It will be used by small business website owners that are not technical themselves and will give them some practical advice.

I'm looking for a concept design for the landing page. The idea is get as many visitors checking as possible. The page will contain facts and stats call to actions and one box for the visitor to enter their site url.

The 'tone' of the site needs to be friendly and approachable but still have the 'authority' required to give the visitor confidence that the results they will eventually see are accurate and important.

The results page will come later. It is not part of this competition but it's likely that the winner will be hired to complete the other parts of the project.

I have uploaded a design that i had done so that you can use the copy/text. The uploaded design didn't excite me as i had hoped. (just to explain - the image on the monitor, on the uploaded example, is an idea of what the results page might look like). That's why I'm here - so please don't just copy the design and hope to win.

Feel free to use a character to add interest and depth if you think you can pull-it-off- but the reasons for the characters inclusion would need to be well thought out/clever & original. Simple chucking a character in there for the sake of it will not do you any favours.
