I'm in need of creating a new logotype for our travel product that we sell under the name BeachCamp. The current logo is getting old and we feel that it is time to update what we communicate through the logo. Please step far away from the current logo design or just modernize it to seem more professional.

We are not bound by any colors and/or fonts.
Try and avoid sailing boats, excess use of palm trees, also indoor players and actual retro balls. Should be smarter design where less is more!

We have been in business since 2008. The keywords we are working with are: beach volleyball, social, holiday, fun, great value.
Beach volleyball is the common ground for our customers, but we focus nearly as much on the social factor on the trips.

I would say that we should stay away from to much detail since the logo also will be printed on clothes. Should not be much more detail than Entry 76 or at least with a plan for scalable details.

We have gotten a lot of nice ideas and we are moving towards keeping our original colors or at least one of them. Although our main business right now is beach volley the logo should leave openings for other activities too. One option could be to play with the icon when changing activity? Any suggestions?

  would #97 fit that description , though there could be many other possibilities if you could suggest something that needs to be focused on since the beach normally just makes people picture the sand,chillaxing,water,sunbathing etc such common things.I personally don't have much idea about " beach camps " all my understanding/info is mainly gathered from your website.

Is this contest for real?
At the moment, it looks to be ticking all the boxes of a fake competition.
Higher than average prize, very little feedback and very low ratings. At this stage of the comp, I would have expected the contest to be guaranteed, 3 or 4 designs to be rated higher and the contest holder to be more active.
Surely, out of 248 entries, someone is at least on the right track? Feedback and direction is very important to ensure you get the logo that you want, especially with the prize money on offer.
