Yarışma Özeti
I need a website created as quickly as possibly for a brand new non-profit that is centered around CSEC (Commercially Sexually Exploited Children) in Santa Clara County, CA and San Mateo County, CA (right near San Francisco, CA and San Jose, CA).
The Non-Profit is called: The R.I.S.E Program (Our Youth are Resilient, Inspired, Strong and Empowered)
What we do: The R.I.S.E Program empowers youth from within to break away from the enslavement of sexual exploitation and evolve from victims to leaders.
The FRONT PAGE Should be about our mission - what we do….
The Second Page should give info about CSEC - Maybe titled "Who is a CSEC"
The Third Page: "RISING UP" Perhaps this could be the info on the Thrift Shop… I'll start writing
The Fourth Page: "RISING OUT" Perhaps this could be the info on the drop-in center…. I'll start writing
The Fifth Page: "RISING from WITHIN" Info on our Residential Intervention for the Sexually Exploited
The Sixth Page: "GIVING to R.I.S.E" ALL proceeds go directly to funding services and programs for youth.
We serve 3 areas:
- Opening a San Jose, CA Thrift Store February 1, 2014 - where 100% of all funds after store employee salaries and stores costs solely fund a CSEC Drop-In Center in Redwood City, CA and help fund a residential program for CSEC in Redwood City, CA opening April 2014.
-Opening a drop-in Center (February 2014) in Redwood City, CA for CSEC youth to drop-in for:
All clients who are referred to the R.I.S.E Program are offered drop-in center services. Services provide life skills development and self-sufficiency training, enrichment and recreational activities, connections to resources and opportunities for long-term sustainability. The center will be open Monday-Friday from 2:00-7:00pm. We provide drop-in center services for our clients ages 12-18, with a concentration on education, financial literacy, therapeutic services and enrichment activities.
Youth are offered a monthly schedule of daily activities such as life-skills/educational workshops, arts and crafts, physical activity, self-care activities and small therapeutic groups.
This program prepares women and girls who may have never held a real job before to increase their knowledge and become employable. Life/job skills, education, and opportunities are provided through weekly classes designed specifically for exploited women and girls focusing on higher education, soft skill development, work experience development, and employment readiness. The R.I.S.E Program has formed partnerships with several local employment and work readiness organizations to help prepare women and girls for the job market as well as encourage them to complete their GED and seek higher education which will help them to avoid being re-victimized due to economic desperation.
This center will also be used by local law enforcement to interview and meet with youth who are victimized of sexual exploitation in a safe and neutral location instead of the police station or juvenile hall.
- The R.I.S.E House (Residential Intervention for the Sexually Exploited): a residential program in San Mateo County designed in the modality of empowering youth to evolve from victims into survivors to leaders. Opening April 2014
PRELIMINARY LOGO ADDED - NOT QUITE FINAL YET… BUT PRETTY MUCH DONE.
I don't want it to have negative imagery… but positive, empowerment.. etc..
