I'm looking for a sophisticated logo for my new clothing brand Candau Couture making handmade clothing in classic, elegant styles catering to both kids and adults. The logo should convey elegance and class, as well as incorporating my history as a U.S. submariner. I'd like to tie in my french heritage without it being attached to the submarine itself as I am an American military member, not french.

I will need two designs that are correlated: one for website and documentation that is more complex and contains multiple elements. The other would need to be a simple version that can be printed on smaller clothing tags to be attached to the clothes themselves.

I've attached an AI generated image that is a good potential starting point (though I'm open to other ideas). I like it for the following reasons:
- colors as they are classic colors but have a nice contrasting effect that ties well into an elegant style
-The drawing on the woman and boy as I like the clothing style which is close to what I am making but would prefer the woman to look a bit more modern and to incorporate a little girl as well half the age as the boy to represent my kids.
-the submarine: this is a must to somehow incorporate my history as a submariner. Was thinking of potentially some sort of embroidered submarine look but not a must, just that a submarine is incorporated
-the french flag: incorporates well my french heritage



Style:
- Elegant design but still simple. I don't want anything too busy or very old. This should be classic in the sense that it doesn't feel like it's from 1700

Elements:
- Typography
- Icons or Symbols
- Illustrations
Note: all elements should go together in style

Color Scheme:
- Bold but not bright
- High contrast coloring

Ideal Skills & Experience:
- Strong portfolio in elegant logo design
- Proficiency in typography and illustration
- Experience with high contrast color schemes

    CH, you need to watch out, most entries are going to be AI generated, 99% AI but there are things you can do to spot the scammers, watch out for them dropping all entries super fast. Keep in mind a solid design takes time and care to craft, so multiple different entries in a row is impossible. The easiest way to spot them is typing their name into 'Search Entries' so you can see their pattern of spamming and how fast they are posting entries.
