I’m sharing a rich, multi-sensor environmental dataset and I want to see just how much actionable knowledge you can squeeze out of it. Your mission is to surface at least 35 meaningful KPIs and supporting metrics, lay every calculation bare, explain why each one matters to real-world decision-making, and wrap it all into both an interactive Excel dashboard and an accompanying analytical report. The dataset blends multiple environmental streams, so correlations, anomalies, quality indicators, and uncovering hidden patterns are all on the table. I will reward depth of thought far more than flash: half of the score is tied directly to the strength, originality, and relevance of the KPIs you define. Methodology and transparent maths account for another 20 %, clarity of presentation 20 %, and your technical reasoning 10 %. Excel is the preferred canvas for the dashboard, but if you invent a clever workaround or auxiliary script to enrich it, feel free—just keep the final delivery inside the Excel file so judges can explore it without extra software. Deliverables • Excel dashboard (all visuals fully linked to source data) • Analytical report (PDF or DOCX) detailing: – At least 35 KPIs / metrics with formulas shown – Rationale for each metric’s business or scientific value – Discussion of trends, relationships, and anomalies discovered • A brief methodology appendix so others can reproduce your process Acceptance criteria 1. Every KPI is clearly labeled, mathematically defined, and traceable to raw columns. 2. Insights are defensible: conclusions follow directly from the evidence you present. 3. The dashboard loads without broken links, macros, or add-ins. 4. All files open on the latest desktop version of Excel. Push creative boundaries, justify every insight, and deliver something that lets stakeholders grasp the health of their environment at a glance. I’m excited to see what you discover.

I’ve completed about 50% of the workbook, including the initial data structure, KPI/metric framework, Excel dashboard foundation, sensor trend analysis, and calculation workflow. Before I finalize, could you please confirm: 1. Should all 35+ metrics be shown individually in the dashboard, or only in the report? 2.
