Contest Brief

We have a condo design and we like the interior space but need to change the exterior look to that of a Mediterranean style. The project is located in Mexico. I am uploading the raw picture, the first attempt to soften the look and then some screen shots of pictures of ideas we like. Please post questions or clarification requests.

We need rendering ideas not AUTOCAD designs. Entries can be in pencil if you want or AutoCAD, or PhotoShop, or whatever. We need to see the Mediterranean look applied to the structure.


Please use the 'terra cotta' roof tiles or 'Spanish Roof' tiles, We want to see these types of roof tiles where ever possible. Feel free to change the roof pitch, add a roof, or do anything that will not interrupt the basic structure and floor plan. Be creative with arches and other things. We want it warm and soft looking.

    As an overall observation, could we see the beach side, (the balcony), have less arches so that the view is not so obstructed? Just an idea.

    We need to see the view from the back as well as the front (which in this case is on the beach) Details to the exact design are not so important. We want something that looks warm and soft. If you want to make a balcony, or extend an area, that is ok as well.

    I posted a PDf of a file for the plans. Please, do not worry so much about the plans. It is really just a box. The renderings that I provided show a 'pushed out' or extended front in the master bedroom areas and also have a small balcony in the back bedroom. What I need is something that looks a bit Mediterranean.
