find the emergency phone numbers of 31 speaking countries

Yarışma Özeti

This contest will run for 7 days. Give it your best shot and once you are convinced that you did what you could submit your entry. I will give you a feedback on that entry and if required you'll have a second try. Only two entries per contestant will be accepted. Any additional entries will be rejected. Winner will be who provides the most links that match my criteria for most countries but at least 10 of them.

I have attached an Excel list with 31 countries. I need you to search through the Internet and find a local government site for each country that lists the emergency numbers for police, fire and ambulance. I need the link to that site added to the spreadsheet. If there is a countrywide number for a services I need you to add that number into the spreadsheet as well. If there are multiple local numbers just write "local" into the field instead.

For example the country of Montserrat. http://www.gov.ms/a-z-government-listings/ Police: 999 Ambulance: 6644912802 Fire: 911

Please. We are talking about emergency numbers. Someones life could depend on them. The research needs to be thorough. I rather don't have a number than a wrong number.

The numbers shown in the list right now are numbers published by http://travel.state.gov (The US department of State). And many are wrong. Go figure. However they might help you in your search. Helpful also might be to use the keyword gov or government in your search. Using the countries domain extension (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Internet_top-level_domains) like so "emergency number gov Germany site:.de" in Google might help as well. If you can find it like this try searching for the police, fire brigade and ambulance separately.

Thanks for your help.

Note: I don't want numbers from listing sites, Wikipedia, Google, foreign travel advice, US government (unless its US territory), Universities ... I have all of that. I want the number listed on a respective government site so I can be certain it is correct. Numbers from the respective tourism board are acceptable as well, as long as it is not a company. As a last resort I take links to mobile phone companies listing the numbers.

Good news. I have the first submission that got more than 10 links right. So there will be a winner. Despite many people saying it is not possible - it is. And there is still room to better the current first place Remember - read the brief and don't submit links I already said I don't want.

Please read the brief and understand what I'm looking for. I want links to sites which show the emergency numbers for the police, fire department and ambulance. These sites need to be from:

    - the respective government of that country (not another countries government)
    - the respective tourist board of that country
    - a mobile phone company from that country

These are the only three sources accepted. No exceptions. No questions. No discussions.

You might find one site with three numbers or you might have to search for the three numbers on three different sites.
