Nice... could you modify the design slightly. Lets say keep the hexagon for energy storage and battery. Then the arm is the same just that instead of wiring we replace with 2 transparent tubes running side by side from bottom to top. The tubes connect to a `gun` or `extractor` fixed at the top of the arm. The 2 tubes have separate functions and 2 different colors. 1 carries energy from the hexagon to the gun. The second tube carries the extracted substance from the ground to a storage. We need to design the storage as well which will be located somewhere next to hexagon. The gun at the top of the arm looks more or less the same as now rounded at the bottom. The gun releases a beam of energy into the planet surface then it extracts the substance through a pipe attached to it. So the pipe is more or less surrounded by the beam of energy/light when in use.

Tesla coil. – its main function is to generate electromagnetic energy and thus be able to power all the led lights of the mechanical arm and avoid excessive wiring.
Mechanical arm. - The mechanical arm has 4 motors, one at the base and 3 on each axis for perfect mobility.
