Contest Brief

Cycling team "DPA Cycling Team" (www.dpacycling.lv) is cycling team established and sponsored by IT company DPA (www.dpa.lv) which participate in MTB (mountain-bikes) class and plans to qualify for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

! We require preparing design ideas for the tracksuits for cycling team "DPA Cycling Team".

Please, take a close look on all requirement points!

Detailed requirements:

1. Attached you will find PDF files with layout of tracksuit to use for the basis of your design (please, see files attached). You will see all the obligatory parts of the suite there.

2. Tracksuits are used for the trainings and competitions to represent the brand of the biking team and also the owners of the team. We want it to look stylish, innovative and contemporary to stand out from other teams.

3. Elements to be included in the design – logo of “DPA Cycling Team”, logo of company “DPA”, website address www.dpa.lv. Please, don't use these elements too much and often.

4. We expect you to drive your ideas from the design elements of brand DPA, for example you could use the main element of DPA logo – the 'arrow' /’play’ button consisting of several squares.

5. Include corporate colors of DPA (please, see files attached), but you are welcome to use and offer combinations with other colors like black, white and any other suitable!!!

6. We expect you to propose innovative ideas which are different from the classic conservative way the biking tracksuits usually look.

7. Attached you will find the photos and layouts of our old tracksuits. We don’t want to see the copy paste ideas!!!! That is why we publish them for you to know what we don’t expect to see!!!!

  Hello! Thank you for your entry. I honestly have to say that it looks very similar to the tracksuits we already had. We were hoping to have some very fresh and original ideas here, but unfortunately in your design we can't see anything very original. Maybe you still have some more ideas. You could step aside more from our corporate identity and put in more inovation and fantasy.

I have made some different patterns to be on some parts of the shirt. Since it takes a lot of time to apply it on the final design, I first want to know your opinion and then spend time on it. How can I send them to you to have a look?

  Hello! You can post the unfinished designe. Even if it will not be finished, we will evaluate the idea and if we will like it then you can continue working on your design and finish it.
