WOOD studios is looking for a graphic designer / illustrator to being our vision to life. We’re looking to expand our designs and concept with a new process that allows us to print directly onto the wooden tiles creating many design possibilities. Our first design concept is using a series of geometric patterns or Pendleton print to create an animal head that will be printed on hexagon shaped wood tiles and mounted on the wall. Each tile is 6”x7” and made from walnut or birch. Included is a series of pattern or design ideas we would like to see incorporated. It can be in a more geometric design or Pendleton/Navajo pattern or a combination of both. Each tile can be designed separately or used to create a more unified look, as they will be mounted separately to create one piece of art. Any color can be incorporated as they are simply going to be printed on the same way something is printed on paper. The idea is to use the pattern of pendleton with use of triangles and various shapes to form the animal heads features (horns,eyes,mouth) included is the hexagon shape we would like used and some sample pendleton patterns we like

    Hi there, Sorry i have reread your brief a few times now and just need to make sure i am understanding correctly. So you want a geometric Animal head illustration, and it can be on a single hexagon tile or you want it designed to spread over a few hexagon tiles so when mounted you would see complete picture? Thanks :)

      Yes exactly it would need to be spread over numerous hexagons and coming together to form complete picture. The hexagons would serve as the basic animal outline and the illustration and gfraphics would showcase the features the color
