We are developing a new Mobile Web Application - LogMate - a Smart-phone based Drivers Logbook.
We are looking for a logo which we can use on our website AND in the App stores. It therefore needs to be compact and clear.

Brand values: Simpler. Smarter. Innovative.
Brand name: LogMate
Brand description: A 'friend' that helps Drivers to complete their logbook and comply with the laws governing logbooks here in New Zealand.

Open to colour schemes

System audience: All Commercial Vehicle Drivers e.g. Taxi Drivers, Small Passenger Vehicles, Truck drivers, Limousine, Courier Drivers, etc

Keep this in mind: we will be designing the Apps User Interface, a Corporate website and Business cards as well so if you 'inspire us' you will put yourself in the running for some bigger and more lucrative jobs up next.

General feedback is that we are still looking for more ideas here people!!
The systems objective are as follows:
- to help drivers comply with the laws here in NZ
- the App uses a traffic light colour scheme to indicate compliance or violations e.g. Green-Yellow-Red
- it is technology that Drivers will love because it will make their life easier = happy drivers are good drivers :)
- it is simple & intuitive to use, and in its look and feel, etc
- it is smart - it keeps a driver informed with information that is useful and presents it in a clear and concise fashion
- it will quickly become an extremely valuable tool to drivers. they'll wonder how they managed without it before
We'd love to see some more concepts & ideas. Feels a bit like people are just submitting 3 colour variations and leaving it at that.

The logo needs to be as compact as possible. It is acceptable to stack the Brand name e.g.
Log
Mate

Preferably if it was able to fit into a square then it would be more suitable for our needs
