New company, "Sew Maile" provides custom sewing needs, from general alterations to baby stuff to simple curtains to scrubs, either completely custom or modified.

I'm looking for two things really, a logo and an icon (that can be used on tags and such). For example, if you Google Wonderwink, you'll see the logo as well as their icon (the face).

My first idea for the logo was somewhat simple. Picture a setting needle standing up. On the left is the vertical word "sew". The needle is threaded and the thread spells out "Maile", with the needle forming the first leg of the "M" and maybe a button to dot the "i".

I'm really looking for something that lets you know just by looking at the logo, the company is in the sewing industry. The ".com" does not necessarily have to be in the logo.

My original idea is in the brief. Other than that, i'd like to keep it simple, no more than 2 colors, and something that can be identified no matter how it is rescaled (larger or smaller).
