Yarışma Özeti
Baby Milk Action is a small, not-for-profit campaigning organisation. We are looking for a logo for a campaign against unethical baby milk marketing.
We monitor baby food companies against international marketing standards, work for legislation implementing these standards and run campaigns to force changes where legislation is not in place or is not effective.
We are perhaps best known for winning cases against misleading baby milk advertising before the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and for promoting a boycott of Nestlé, the company we find to be the worst breaker of the rules on a global scale.
We are looking for an improved logo for a campaign against Danone's sponsorship of health workers.
Danone promotes the Cow & Gate and Aptamil brands of formula. We have won cases at the ASA against misleading claims, but Danone continues to use misleading claims in information directed at healthworkers, which are not subject to scrutiny by the ASA.
Our campaign is to encourage health workers to say no to Danone sponsorship and to be independent sources of information to parents.
The concept is the slogan "DanoNO - say no to formula company sponsorship".
We have produced a mock-up that is a subvertised version of the Danone logo, which has already received positive feedback. The Danone logo is the name Danone with a smile-like stroke underneath it. Our concept is the DanoNO slogan with a frown. A mock-up for our attempt at a logo for use on a mug is attached.
However, we need something that looks better and a different approach could work.
The logo will be used on mugs and other items and we do not want people to mistakenly think these are promoting the company. While the logo should clearly represent our campaign, the association with Danone does need to be made. The items using the logo serve the dual purpose of promoting the campaign and raising funds for our work, such as bringing actions against misleading advertising.
Ideally the logo will work in full colour as well as screen printed with two or three colours.

We will take all responsibility for copyright issues regarding the winning logo, should we decide to reproduce it, if this is inspired by the Danone logo.
