I am launching a new events calendar website which is aimed showcasing the events such as parties, festivals, theatre, etc within my region. The website is brazilian and the name is Pela Rua (pelarua.com.br) - This means “on the road”/“around the street”, suggesting what is currently going on in town.

I would like to use the logo on the website as well as in stationary and merchandise, so ideally it would have a graphic element which can be used on its own (i.e. without the need for pela rua to be written down). This is by no means mandatory though as the measure of success really is the overall quality of the logo.

I have no specific brief about what the logo should look like other than it must be recognizable, striking, modern and must somewhat relate to events. Also, it is important to be vibrant and fun. You are free to play with colors too as the colors of the website are yet to be defined.

Obviously, the logo needs to be in a high enough resolution for use in multiple platforms.
