We need a logo design that will brand our young company.

We are a rafting company that will offer expeditions down the Marañon river in Peru.
The Marañon river is the source of the Amazon, it is also referred to as ' The Grand Canyon of South America' due to its enormous canyon walls, and continuous fun whitewater which is perfect for rafting.

We believe in inspiring people to live their dream and challenging them to find more sustainable & responsible ways to living. We will do this by working with local communities and tourists to provide top level rafting expeditions through this canyon. Benefits of this work will be that we can work with local communities to create sustainable income streams and ways of living. Our work will also help to generate awareness of the 22 dams that threaten to destroy this river. Guests that come on these journeys will feel a connection to the incredible landscape, and to the local people which in the future will help to save this river from destruction. They gain an appreciation of what will be lost if these destructive dam projects go ahead.

We aim to make every single journey a unique experience, for the guests, for local communities and for employees of the company.

Company will be called 'Marañón Experience'. (Note contest name is incorrect). This text should appear in the logo.

Logos of rafting companies that we like include: [login to view URL] & oars.com. but don't let this crowd your creativity. This is a unique place that we will be operating, and we have unique goals and side benefits to what we plan to do. Our logo should reflect our intentions.
We are looking for something that can easily be watermarked into photos, and simple enough that would become easily recognisable

Ideally a logo would transmit a feeling of trust, quality service, adventure and appreciation of the immensity & nature of this incredible canyon. Including influences of the Peruvian culture would also be a plus.

Note: there will be ongoing opportunity to work on this project through website design after the logo has been completed. If the prize is awarded to you, we can discuss this option.
