Contest Brief

The entrance hall of my professional studio currently feels more like a corridor than a reception space, and I want to turn it into a warm yet distinctly modern lounge where clients and partners will be happy to wait. The walls must stay exactly as they appear in the photos I’ve attached—no paint, panels, or structural tweaks—so every design move needs to work around their current finish.

The look I’m after is unmistakably Minimalist: clean lines, restrained colour palette, and an overall tech-savvy vibe that matches the rest of the studio. The existing armchairs have to go; in their place I’d like sleek, comfortable modern loungers. A larger screen can replace the small plasma that hangs there now, and a low coffee table, a few carefully placed indoor plants, plus a slim water dispenser should complete the setting without cluttering it.

I’ll need three key deliverables:
• a concise style concept or mood-board that captures the Minimalist direction,
• at least two photorealistic 3D renders showing day and evening lighting, and
• a basic furniture and finishes sheet listing the exact loungers, table, greenery, and tech you propose.

Feel free to lean on AI-assisted ideation or whichever 3D tool you prefer—Blender, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar—as long as the final visuals look true-to-life and the files can be opened or viewed easily on my end.
