The company is Presage, an early-stage enterprise SaaS firm based in Toronto Canada. Presage is in need of a new or refreshed logo to reflect their new and bold market direction. Presage is a unique ‘risk analytics’ software solution that allows it to predict when and where organizations are at risk of human error. Target customers generally fall into one of two categories (1) safety-conscience organizations such as transportation (e.g., aviation, infrastructure, construction, etc) where errors can be catastrophic and there is usually a regulatory aspect, and (2) cost-conscience organizations that are hampered by the inefficiency costs of human error (e.g., manufacturing, services industries, logistics, etc).
The client is embarking on a new brand strategy exercise, with a new logo being the first step. They are looking for something clean, fresh and modern that reflects the innovative and modern nature of their technology/product along with the serious types of problems they address with their own customers. In other words, clean, fresh, modern … and professional.
The name Presage is very descriptive of the products offering, and is defined as “a sign or warning that something, typically something bad, will happen; an omen or portent.”
