Seeking a professional food logo design specific to a certain criteria.
We are making a brand of raw plant-based food products.
Raw King is the name of our brand and we want to use a gorilla as our main mascot.
There has been a long lasting image of a "vegan body builder" being skinny, scrawny and weak. The gorilla who eats bamboo shoots and other plant based material is to challenge that notion.
The Gorilla needs to look realistic, not cartoon-like, strong but not angry or mean.
The design must have appropriate amount of detail so that it looks good inflated as well as on a small space such as on a bottle cap. Lines of detail need to be clean and as minimal as possible whilst maintaining detail. That is to say if a line is removed it should be very noticeable.
The Gorilla should display its whole body to emphasise on strength and stature. Also the title "Raw King Food" should be included so that I can comment on fonts that are agreeable.
We want a fresh, clean natural look using only black color on a clear label, similar to a black and white stencil drawing.
Attached is are JPEG files that contain a very rough idea of the desired look.
Also attached is an image of typical Aubrey Beardsley drawing - a style that we are fond of. It contains a lot of detail utilizing only one color on a plain white background.
If there is any changes that you as the designer see appropriate, feel free to make them, provided you're happy to work with our suggestions.
We hope you enjoy this job and wish you success!
