I’m refreshing the branding for CaliforniaExpungementAttorneys.Com and need a logo that quietly forms a smile (the "Smile" must be formed with the words "CalforniaExpungementAttorneys.Com") while keeping the text completely legible. The site exists to help people clear their records so they can land better jobs, and I want that hopeful feeling embodied in a professional, clean look—no cartoon vibe, just a confident blue-and-white mark that works against light and dark backgrounds.

Please do not submit any entry with only words.

Please keep the artwork gender- and race-neutral. The company name and the smile should carry equal visual weight, so neither element overwhelms the other; think integrated rather than icon-plus-wordmark. My current site, StrongestDefense.com, will show you the tone of our practice, but the new logo must stand on its own and scale nicely from favicon to billboard.

If you also handle simple motion graphics, I intend to animate the finished logo for the site header. Add the phrase “Can do both” in your message if you’re interested in producing the animation as a follow-on.

Deliverables
• Vector source file (AI or SVG)
• Transparent PNG and high-resolution JPG in standard sizes
• Monochrome and inverted versions for varied backgrounds

I’ll consider the job complete when the files open cleanly in Adobe Illustrator, the smile reads clearly at 48 px, and the blue matches web-safe values specified during hand-off.

If AI were harmful, Freelancer would never allow it. Properly used, AI creates original SVGs and ideas without copyright issues. Calling every AI user a fraud only shows your outdated mindset. Clients want results, not old thinking. Even if they hire a thousand like you, they won’t match AI’s quality and efficiency. Billions are invested in AI worldwide—are all those investors crazy? No, they understand progress. We will report this behavior. Respect innovation—AI is here to stay, and it delivers the business value clients need. Stop pretending you’re the only “real” designer. Most importantly, if a designer can share vector and print-ready files with the client, then it does not matter what the design was created with. So do not confuse the contest holder unnecessarily by bringing that up.

    CH, you need to watch out, most entries are going to be AI generated, 99% AI, these scammers will post HUNDREDS of AI images each but you can spot them, watch out for them dropping all entries super fast. Keep in mind a hand crafted design takes time to create, so multiple different entries in a row is impossible. The easiest way to spot them is typing their name into 'Search Entries' so you can see their pattern of spamming and how fast they are posting entries. ALWAYS SEARCH NAMES. I can not stress this enough, every single entry you like the look of, SEARCH NAME.

    ALSO PLEASE NOTE!!!

    AI-generated images lack copyright protection, permitting any third party to copy the design and could lead to future legal disputes over ownership or usage rights.
