Adjusted Design

Hi there, based on your last feedback I followed the correct dimensions - 30" x 3" x 1.5". I also included a preview of what it would look like on form though since the cloth would be around the foam, no edges should be visible except for the printed line that should act like the sword edge. Let me know if this works better now or if you want me to change anything else. Thanks.

Correct, tip cleaner without complicating the stitches. The original gold file has the most up to date version of the tip. It is "acceptable" but not an ideal solution. We have been unable to come up with an ideal solution.

The sword shape may not be modified. Everything must be done graphically and with shading or creative imaging. The only thing different about swords is their length. All other dimensions are always the same.

    Hi,

I think in terms of base graphics there are some stronger competitors. This image is not a substantial upgrade to the first version of the sword.

However, I think you might have the best shot at solving the 3rd issue. As you can see, your entry is the only entry that presents a 3-dimensional model of the sewn tip.

Historically speaking, I've yet to figure out what image is required for the tip to contain a sewn edge similar to the blade edge of the previous swords. As you can tell from your 3d model, there are black "stripes" which seem to make the tip look inconsistent with the rest of the blade.

I would be seriously interested if you are able to solve the sewn tip issue. I've spent hours trying to figure it out already. Basically the tip should look like a continuation of the blade edge when sewn.

When printed, the sword cover is folded in half, and then cut and sewn in a semi-circle. Let me know if you need an example of what it looks like before being sewn.

Hello, thanks for the clear feedback and details. If I understand correctly, you need a solution that would make the tip cleaner while not complicating the stitches? I have something in mind and I can come up with more. Although, may I know if you're limited to rectangular profiles or can you use others as long as you can cut it onto the foam? (If you can search the Buster Sword of Final Fantasy) I would try to also come up with a better looking graphic to match the level of the other ones. Thanks.
