Creative Challenge:
Create 3 moodboards (containing pictures, drawing, colors…) to illustrate 3 themes on how objects are impacted by wear and tear and how they can be protected thereof. The challenge is to visualize what the themes mean to you and how they can be brought to life through visualization techniques of choice.

Context:
How to preserve objects from wear out…

The passage of time is inescapable. No event could ever fail to be first future, then present, then past, and no persisting thing can avoid growing older.

Time involves a kind of movement or activity. It does not stand still and impacts everything, from objects to humans, in either good or bad ways. With time, people are getting wiser like good wine reveals its finest flavors. But also with time, people lose acuity and things wear out.

The effect of time is often a consequence of external factors such as the sun on colors, the wind on rocks, the friction on garments, and the drought on vegetation. You often want to protect the objects you care for from wear out and ensure it won’t be touched by all those external factors, either for economic reasons or because you are simply emotionally attached to them.

Themes to be illustrated:
Theme1. Thinking about external factors and how time is impacting things, represent what is the most vulnerable to time, the most susceptible to wear out day after day or year after year.
Theme2. Again, thinking about external factors and how time is impacting things, illustrate what is for you the best protection against wear out.
Theme3. Visualize how the most vulnerable thing could fight against wear out

Guidelines:
Your boards should be visual and your idea truly original and innovative enough to completely change people’s perception about wear out. If needed, add word to illustrate/ explain your choices.
Please try to work the different themes separately, one after the other. There is no requirement of link/association in between the 3 different boards.
