We are a t shirt company located in Perth, Australia who commission art from unique, original and innovative artists around the world. Our preference is most definitely for digital art, with Adobe vector formats being preferred, followed by high resolution works in Photoshop. We have a stable of artists who we work with at the moment who have proven themselves by providing high quality work in a timely manner. Some of them we continually keep in work, piece after piece due to their popularity and innovation.

WILL YOU BE OUR NEXT CORE ARTIST?

What we are looking for is art that can be digitally printed on t shirts in high resolution. Our printer outputs at 1200 dpi. The main print area is 14 inches wide by 16 inches high. Your artwork doesn't need to fit the entire area, for instance you may like to design an image that is 12 inches wide by 16 inches high, or have a 10 inch by 10 inch image right in the middle of the shirt. But please bear in mind the print boundaries. Also, please note we are looking for graphic artists as opposed to graphic designers. Your work needs to have a fascination to it that attracts observers of the image.

Be as creative as you like. You can have an image on the front, back and sleeves if you like if you feel that enhances your design. We can also print across side seams if you would like to wrap an image from back to front. This is all about providing the ability to push designs and the equipment to their limits and make t shirts your canvas. Though a single image on the front is absolutely acceptable too.

We commission artists to do a set of 4 shirts around a single theme. We will treat the winning entry in this contest as being the first image in a set of 4, and if you continue to impress us you will be invited to become one of our core artists who we continue to keep providing new themes for you to design.

This contest is to find at least one more artist who we want to work with and preferably someone who will become a core artist who we can rely on to provide design sets in a relatively timely manner (1 set every 3 months is OK).

We consider the fee we pay you as being payment for the exclusive right to use your work, however you retain the copyright and the ability show and exhibit your work or use it for your own purposes besides printing on apparel. You also receive a royalty payment for each shirt that we sell with your designs on them. We like to ensure our artists also benefit when one of their designs becomes popular.

Attached files show some of our current artist's work. We don't want copies of the their styles however, we want your unique style. Themes you might consider are political, fantasy, sci-fi, gothic, occult, music, but we are by no means limited to them. The more extreme themes tend to be the most popular.

Hi, I submit some of my works and 2 photos with my t-shirts which are handmade. I submit two series: 4 characters and 1 illustrattion in different theme. It is the spring. If you like this illustrattion I can make three more.
