Our business idea revolves around providing customers with the option to make advance payments for a product or service and then take ownership of it once all payments have been made. This can provide customers with an alternative to traditional financing options such as loans or credit, and also give merchants the opportunity to increase sales and reach new customers who may not have the funds upfront to purchase their products. Additionally, customers will receive a discount, cashback, or any other perk as an incentive for choosing to make advance payments.

User Personas with Journeys:
Frequent Traveler:
The traveler visits the platform and browses through the available advance installment plans for trips. The traveler selects a plan that fits their budget and requirements and adds the trip to their cart. The traveler proceeds to checkout, where they can select to pay in advance installments. The traveler makes the initial payment, and the platform confirms the booking. The traveler makes subsequent payments as per the selected plan, and the platform provides regular updates on the payment status. Once all payments have been made, the platform confirms the trip details and provides any applicable discounts or cashback.
Gift Giver:
The gift giver visits the platform and browses through the available advance installment plans for gift cards, event plans, and experiences. The gift giver selects a plan that fits their budget and requirements and adds the gift card/event plan/experience to their cart. The gift giver proceeds to checkout, where they can select to pay in advance installments. The gift giver makes the initial payment, and the platform confirms the order. The gift giver makes subsequent payments as per the selected plan, and the platform provides regular updates on the payment status. Once all payments have been made, the platform confirms the delivery of the gift card/event plan/experience and provides any applicable discounts or cashback.

Merchant User Journey:
A merchant creates an account on the marketplace platform. The merchant logs into their account and navigates to the EMI plan section. The merchant selects the "Advance EMI" option and is presented with preconfigured templates for Advance EMI plans. The merchant selects the template that suits their needs, inputs the necessary information and details required to set up the Advance EMI plan, confirms and saves the changes. The Advance EMI plan is now available to customers as a payment option for the merchant's products. Merchants can track the progress and status of the Advance EMI plan in their account dashboard.
